Vernaccia has been grown in this area since the 13th Century. A distinctive, unoaked, dry white wine with a colour of light straw yellow. This wine has had time on the lees giving aromas of flowers, citrus and a minerality. Flavours of herbs, almonds lead to a finish of wild almond.

Fine, young example of a Vernaccia. A characteristic floral nose of almond blossom, mimosa with herbaceous notes. A fresh. dry taste with a good body, crisp green apple acidity, and a bitter almond aftertaste which Vernaccia is known for.

Vernaccia is one of the few Italian white wines that improve with age.
