60% Sangiovese & 40% Merlot
Good red colour with a transparency, but also with darker notes. A sweet nose of cassis, bilberry and carob, leading to light balsamic notes of laurel and thyme, juniper and liquorice. A fresh palette and good body, without exaggerating the tannins dictated by the spicy Sangiovese taste, with a finale between ferrous and balsamic, alternating with herbal notes and toasted coffee and cacao.
Suitable for stews like peposo and stracotto, and seasoned cheeses.
