This year, for the first time, we now have a barrel-aged Grappa, very different in flavour and much smoother than most grappas. Made from our Sangiovese grape pomace and aged for two years in oak barrels. The Grappa Chianti Reserva is the perfect digestif for after your festive meal.
Grappa is made by distilling the skins, pulp, seeds, and stems (i.e., the pomace) left over after pressing the grapes during the winemaking process.
